Visa Inquiries:

1. The Consulate General of Italy is representing Greece for issuing visas in the Sindh province. Please contact the Consulate General of Italy in Karachi (tel.: +0092 21 5831007, 5874582, 5870931).
2. All Greek visas are processed in Islamabad. Please contact the Consular Section at the Greek Embassy (tel. +92 51 822558, 825186, 825720).
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING FOR A VISA. IF THE APPLICATION FORM IS NOT PROPERLY FILLED IN AND THE CONDITIONS, LAID BELOW, ARE NOT MET, THE WHOLE PROCEDURE WILL BE CANCELLED.

NOTES FOR THE KIND ATTENTION OF THE APPLICANTS
• ONLY THROUGH THE PERSONAL APPEARANCE OF THOSE INTERESTED, THE CONSULAR OFFICE WILL PROCEED TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE VISA REQUESTED.
• IF THE PERSON COMPLIES WITH THE ABOVE-MENTIONED REQUIREMENTS, THIS DOESN’T NECESSARILY MEAN THAT VISA WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ISSUED. FURTHERMORE, IF A PERSON OBTAINS A VISA FOR GREECE AND THE COMPETENT GREEK AUTHORITIES AT THE AIRPORT REFUSE, ON THEIR INTERNAL GROUNDS, THE ENTRY, THE CONSULAR OFFICE OF THIS EMBASSY WILL NOT BEAR ANY RESPONSIBILITY.
• IT IS FOR YOUR OWN INTEREST TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS, AL LEAST SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DEPARTURE DATE

Tourist Visa

1. Passport (Valid at least three months after the visa will expire)
2. Photocopy of identity card.
3. One passport size photograph, recently issued.
4. Confirmed return or onward air ticket, along with the airline stamp: NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-ENDORSABLE AND NON-REROUTABLE.
5. In case the person interested is to visit another country (non Schengen member) via Greece, he is obliged to present, affixed on his passport, the visa issued for that purpose, in order to obtain the airport transit visa from the Greek Consulate Office in Islamabad.
6. Either the invitation letter or the one submitted by the warrantee(s) has to be genuine (original), otherwise (in the event of photocopies) the visa will be denied.
7. Display of traveller cheques or credit cards, to an amount sufficient to cover all the expenses during the stay in Greece. Cash won’t constitute any substantial proof and shall not be accepted.
8. Genuine and updated bank statement, comprising the address and telephone number of the bank, undersigned by two bank officials. It is to be noted that, even in that case, the Consulate Office is entitled to further verify the validity of the said bank statement.
9. Photocopies of all the necessary documents.

Business Visa

1. Passport (Valid at least three months after the visa will expire)

10. Genuine documents, affording information on the nature, solvability status of the applicant’s company and the well-acquired experience in operating within the international market.
11. In case a staff member, which intends to represent the agency, company or institution abroad, an original letter is compulsory, indicating the reason and the authorisation to act on behalf of the firm.

Seamen Visa

1. Passport (Valid at least three months after the visa will expire)
2. Photocopy of identity card.
3. One passport size photograph, recently issued.
4. Confirmed or onward air ticket, along with the airline stamp: NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-ENDORSABLE AND NON-REROUTABLE.
5. In case the person interested, is to visit another country (non Schengen member) via Greece, he is obliged to present, affixed on his passport, the visa issued for that purpose, in order to obtain the airport transit visa from the Greek Consular Office in Islamabad.
6. Photocopies of all the necessary documents.
